Swooner Exclusive Mix no.15: Get Down Edits

Get Down Edits played the last set at Body & Soul a couple of weekends ago - they were so amazing - seriously fresh happy vibes, everyone just going wild and loving it. It was so much fun, definitely one of my highlights. They must have played 4 or 5 one last tunes and it ended with the whole crowd singing along to We Are Family. Very good times! If you ever get a chance to go see them play,  I'd highly recommend it! Got to meet Martin too and he very kindly sent me this mix for the series. Gorgeous disco beats, space laser noises, nice and chilled for much needed post-weekend recovery! Thanks guys!

Moondragon: Man And Machine

Haven't had a chance to do any swooning over tunes on here of late so apologies about that. However a new Twitter follower yesterday intrigued me with their bio: "Moondragon is a synth-heavy 1980s inspired music project themed around impressive machines and the people who pilot them." Quality synthy 80s movie vibes. Right up Swooner Street, check it out!

Nice beats for a Monday afternoon after the Sunday evening before. Germany's Andhim on Essential Mix from Saturday night just gone. Lovely tunes throughout including their new one Rollercoaster. VACATIONLAND IS BACK!

Hurrah! The amazing mix series is back after a hiatus of a few months - and not only that, it has returned with none other than a Bill Murray inspired set of mixtapes. It's like when 2 of your favourite pals meet up and then become better friends with each other than they are with you. But in a good way!



I've been repeat watching Broad City and Bored To Death of late so it's quality to hear some familiar soundbites in there.

Not on Soundcloud this time but on the excellent hearthis.at - my friend Ivan told me about it and if you don't know it yet, it's really great - so much sweet stuff on there. You may have to register (only takes a sec) and or follow some of the artists / reshare the tunes to get some of the DLs. But you should follow them anyway because they are brilliant.
